The BRAUN 3-in-1 No Touch thermometer with age precision is the latest addition to the Braun Thermometer range. It features patented age precision technology, an age-adjustable fever guidance which takes the guesswork out of the temperature reading. This thermometer uses patented breakthrough technology to make taking temperature easy, stress-free and incredibly accurate. In touch mode, place the thermometer on the forehead between the eyebrows to take a measurement. In no touch mode, hold the thermometer in front of your child's forehead between the eyebrows up to 2cm away, therefore reducing stress for your child. The temperature can then be taken without risk of waking them. The no-sound mode can also be used so that your child's temperature can be taken almost silently. Finally, the food & liquid mode allows you to easily measure your baby food, drink or even bath temperature.

The Braun No touch thermometer provides non-invasive comfort, so you can take clinically accurate readings without waking your sleeping child. Clinical research shows the definition of fever changes as newborns grow into children and children grow into adults. Simply use the Age Precision button to select the appropriate age setting, take a temperature and the color-coded display will glow green, yellow or red to help you understand the temperature reading. The BRAUN 3-in-1 No Touch thermometer can be used to measure the temperature on the forehead, an object or liquid measurement, great to use for bath water or food. How to Use Your Braun Thermometer:-

• Remove the protective scanner cap before taking a measurement. Press and release the power button once. Back-light will come on and the start-up sequence begins.

NOTE: The thermometer and individual should be in the same ambient temperature for at least 10 minutes. An individual must be indoors for 30 minutes before taking a measurement

• Select age range with Age Precision button. The device will start cycling through the age ranges, highlighting the 3 ranges you may select:

0-3 Months

3-36 Months

36+ Months

Press the Age Precision button to toggle through the age range until you select the age appropriate for the individual.

• Position the thermometer on or up to 2.5 cm away from the center of the individual's forehead, just between the eyebrows. When the thermometer is ready and on or 2.5 cm away from the forehead, a horizontal line of dashes ("--") will appear on the screen.

For No touch reading, the yellow guidance light will show you where you are aiming.

NOTE: If the eyebrow area is covered with hair, sweat or dirt, please clean the area beforehand to improve reading accuracy. It is important to hold the thermometer and the forehead steady during measurement. Movement will impact the temperature reading.

• Three dashed lines indicate the thermometer is ready to take a temperature. Press the temperature button. The display will show a dashed line animation while it takes a reading. Once the reading is complete a confirmation beep will be heard and the appropriate fever light colour will be displayed on screen.

NOTE: If the device is positioned too far away from the forehead, it will prompt you to move closer by displaying the characters "0.-2 cm". Slowly move the device toward the forehead until the dashed line animation starts and a reading is displayed.
